I went on line to order meals. Advertiment said Dickies had combos.
I tried to order on line, but could not go through. I drove down to Dickies in Pasadena Ca. on Colorado Blvd. 2300 block.
New person taking orders.
I asked for 3 combos. New person had to ask manager. Manager told me that there is no Dickies combo anywhere.or at any Dickies.
I ordered food. Bill came to $88.20 for 2 beef combos.
Fries were blackened and soggy. We also ordered Baked potato with everything.
I am writing because the add on line stated combos, i couldnt get through to place order, and i thought bill was very high for 3 combos and a baked potato.
I asked my parents if they would eat here again, and the answer was no.
I felt manager didnt care about customer service or our concerns about ordering on line.
I dont like writing a review like this, but i felt i needed to
I wrote review in Yelp. Your company e0mailed me requesting my review and needed information.
I sent it to Ann at Dickies customer service.
I did follow up to review, and i found other bad reviews on Yelp with the same reply that i got from Ann.
I tried to send another e-mail, but, it came back no domain by that name. No e-mail could be sent.
I really hope this is not how Dickies does business.

Complaint
I went to the location on Colfax and wadsworth in lakewood co and when I walked in a young man, instead of greeting us he said what do you want. At first we didnt think he was talking to us so we ordered and he proceeded to ask us questions if we wanted pickles.
We said yes but he must of not heard us because he kept sailing they keep walking away. A young female asked him if we wanted them and he said I dont know maybe on just one sandwich they walked away so i guess. He was saying all of this loudly and sarcastically which if he wanted he could have simply said hey I didnt hear you did you want pickles on those. The young lady asked us and we said yes and she asked him if he had any pickles on his said and he said so now they want pickles.
My mom was kind of in shock at this point because we let it slide but his attitude was horrible towards us. She asked what his problem was and he said he has no problem that he didnt hear us when he asked but I clearly stated it multiple times and we told the young lady we wanted them. I think it was uncalled for the way his attitude was towards us. But when we said he was coming off really rude he told the young lady not to ring us up and he refused our service.
This took place monday march 4th and I called customer service but no one ever called me back. It was my moms birthday and we decided to go there but he really ruined her day. As someone who has worked in customer service you are taught to be respectful and polite no matter what. He chose to work there and should have valued our time and money we were willing to spend.
Im very disappointed and hope he can learn to fix his attitude. Again I wish someone would reach out to me so I can have some closure because it really took away from my mom having a good day.
Horrible Horrible Experience at a Dickeys in Albuquerque, NM
I completed a survey on line yesterday about what happened. I placed an order on line from my computer at my work.
Then paid with a debit card that belongs to my boss. The payment went thru, When I ordered I added that I, Coleen Lopez would be the person picking up the order. About 20 minutes later I got to the restaurant to pick it up. The restaurant was empty and there was an african american man at the drink station.
There was one bag of food on the counter. I told him I was picking up an order, I went up to the bag to see if it had my name on it and it did. (I always order food on line and I walk up to the spot where they put those orders and let the clerk know I'm picking up, I never have had a problem.) I told him it was mine. He asked my name, I told him.
He said I saw you look at the name and then say it was your order. He said I was just trying to take it because he said I looked at the name and said it was mine. He said it was not mine. He said show me on your phone where you placed the order, I could not, because I placed it on my work computer.
He did not believe me. He said to reorder on my phone in front of him. I told him I would not and charge the debit card again. I cursed and said no!!
I became very upset by that time we were arguing. He also said, how do I know your not just off street. So he asked to see my phone to verify if it was me. I went to my car and that took me all of 1 minute.
I showed info on my phone that showed my name. He actually said that I went to my car and typed my name in my phone to show him. He didn't believe me, he also asked me what I ordered and I told him. That did no good.
Then he called his boss and he came to the restaurant, by this time It has been a while that I have been there. When he got there I told him what happened, then the other man said I was trying to take an order that was not mine. And kept saying this is what she did, she came in and saw the bag and ran up to it to see what the name was and say it was hers so she could take it. This manager was as horrible as the man.
I said this is horrible, he said he's only doing what he's supposed to do, I told him this was no no way to treat people and cursed again. He asked me for my ID, but I didn't have it. He said that was too bad, I wanted to just walk out without taking the bag, but we had already paid for it. I told him that I had my vehicle registration with my name.
I showed it to him and he gave me the bag. I told him I was not going to let this go and I was going to call someone. He told me get the *** out of and stay the *** out in front of people that had just walked in. While in the middle of this before it got too heated, 2 older men came in and wanted to order but the clerk said you can't and they asked why and he said we only take cards, they said we have cash, he said no we don't take cash, they were looking the menu and he told them, you need to order on-line and pay on line.
They turned around and walked out. I am afraid of these 2, I don't want any problems with them. None of this should have happened, When I left I felt sick to my stomach and had no desire to eat the food. I was dizzy and nauseated.
I felt violated. I'm not sure what to do, so I am going to get some legal assistance to find out what I can do.
I should never have had to show them my personal info on my phone or my veh registration. And honest, to god, the manager said as I was walking out the door "Customers are always wrong!"

Company fixed the issue and I have been provided with apology. The local restaurant refunded my purchase. No explanation or apology as to why no one showed up for work that day.No more Dickey's for me!
When we arrived, no one had come to work that day at Dickys (according to the employees at the shared facility).
Why would an order go through, if the restaurant was closed? Why would I not be advised of this before driving 20 miles and wasting a half hour of time, before going there?
My card has not been refunded at this point, so I am guessing Dickeys isn't even aware of the problem.
Hopefully, your customer service is a little better than your restaurant operations.
I look forward to hearing from you.

Complaint against manager
My husband is a DoorDash driver. We went to pick up an order here and my husband, who has autism, isn't big on talking.
He walked into the restaurant, held up his phone to the manager and the manager asked him why he wasn't talking, and asked if he was deaf. My husband replied that he was a DoorDash driver and was picking up an order. The manager then said that if my husband wouldn't talk to them, they'd have a problem. I called to try to calmly tell him that was rude and my husband is stressing out and explain to them about how he has autism.
The manager then claimed that my husband made gagging noises with his finger in his mouth like he was throwing up in front of his transgender employee. I was sitting in the car, watching, and NONE OF THAT HAPPENED. I told him again that he was rude and I told him to have a good night. He then said "I hope you don't" before hanging up on me.
The manager there, Trinity, is a liar. I will not be supporting this business ever again.

Dickies had no solution for me. They said cause I didn’t submit a photo of my food, they could issue a refund.
So I resent their questionnaire again with a photo. They refused to offer any kind of compensation.

I'm a 9 year FAITHFUL customer to Dickeys in Kennesaw, GA. Through the many MANY owner/mgr changes, we have remained faithful.
So when we saw where Costco starting carrying Dickey giftcards naturally we purchased a couple. BOTH for $100 value. It has been a NIGHTMARE trying to get the Kennesaw Dickeys to accept them. I can't tell you how many times we were told (at least 6) that the "gift card machine was down"; but no one could ever explain exactly when it would be fixed.
Each time our visits were $40-60 which we would end up having to pay for in cash because of this mysterious gift card hiccup. Today, I AGAIN attempted to use the card (to purchase a dinner for a neighbor) and this time the guy flatout said they no longer accept giftcards. I asked him to repeat himself just to make sure i understood correctly. He said the same.
Look, I live in an area that is saturated in restaurants, plenty of other BBQ choices. If, in fact, Dickeys will not HONOR their OWN giftcards then I will take my business elsewhere.
In the meantime, I need Dickeys to refund me for 4 $25 gift cards that i'm unable to use because the nearest one near me is 57 miles away. I WANT A REFUND.

Verified BuyerOrdered Cajun Turkey and received a raw, partially frozen and unseasoned bird
My family has ordered a Cajun Turkey from Dickey's for the past 7 years. This year, I was astounded when I was handed a raw, partially frozen, and unseasoned turkey which I pre-paid $92 for [I could have gone to my local grocery store and bought the same thing for 1/3 the price].
The Cajun Turkey is typically injected with marinade and fried, and needs only reheating to serve. It's been this way for the past 7 years. I was told I need to speak to 'corporate' because this year they were told not to 'cook' them?!?! I am not prepared to deal with a completely raw turkey the night before Thanksgiving dinner.
This is why I order the Cajun Turkey.
I am beyond disappointed, and this is not the product I expected when I ordered. I feel deceived.

So not your payment card, no device to show confirmation of order and if that’s not enough we have the winner for moron of the century; I added a note to indicate a person other than cardholder is picking up. BUT, I didn’t bring ID.
Look at it from his viewpoint. You didn’t have the device showing confirmation.
You didn’t have the card used to make the order. You did not have your ID. You cursed in the back/forth exchange. You are being disingenuous with what you think they should let slide.
What if you paid with your card and had it and ID on you. You also had order confirmation on your device in hand. I go in five minutes before you . See a bag with “Bob Jones” on it and say I’m here to pick up for Bob Jones.
He gives it to me and I leave.
Would you say Oh well and pay again? Your rush to use foul language says otherwise.
